This is the story about Emily, a little girl who wanted to leave the comforts of her home to explore the world. Although her mother was against the idea at first, she later agreed reluctantly to let Emily fulfill her dream. Emily’s journey began as she went in search of a butterfly, hoping it would show her the wonders of the world.
Along the way, Emily met different people and embarked on various adventures. Her first encounter was with Miss Honey, a woman whose son had ran away to explore the world. Emily offered to find her son and Miss Honey gave her dog Douglas to keep her company on her journey.
Later, Emily found Alex, Miss Honey’s son, in the woods. She learned from him how to survive in the wild and discussed with him about her fears, doubts, hopes and dreams about whether it is worth it to step out into the unknown. Her time with Alex came to an end in a twist of fate, when they got caught in an earthquake. After recovering from the shock, Emily found herself in a dream-like state, with Alex no more than a distant memory.
After her encounter with Alex, Emily found herself in a maze and came across a woman called Katherine, who mistook her for her own missing daughter. Katherine offered to help Emily but later, the two of them got chased by monsters in the forest. After a narrow escape, Katherine got injured and the two ended up at the mountain of the giant. To escape, they had to find magical pomegranates guarded by the giant, which would make any wish come true.
Emily set off on her new mission and met an old man called Bjorn, who seemed to be the friend of the giant. Bjorn offered her a meal and during the meal, she found the pomegranate she was looking for. In the night, Emily tried to steal the pomegranate and escape but she was caught by Bjorn. Much to her surprise, Bjorn offered her the pomegranate.
Taking the pomegranate, Emily made her way back in the darkness to find Katherine.

The journey through the dark forest was indeed difficult. But misfortune fell when she found out that she had been followed by Bob the Giant who demanded that the Pomegranate which she received from Bjorn to be returned. Emily was scared, that she will might lose her freedom or even her life. But she gathered courage and sobbingly told Bob the story of her journey. She begged him and asked if she could do anything to earn her freedom. The giant took pity on her and offered her a job in his pomegranate farm to test Emily’s integrity and dedication. At the end of Emily’s work term, the giant was touched by the earnest hard work of Emily and gave her 3 magical pomegranates and instructed her with a few words of wisdom before bidding her farewell.
Emily again resumed her journey. This time she found herself in a bright and beautiful forest abundant with fruits and chirps of birds in contrast to the dark and gloomy forest from before. Emily encountered a very beautiful and tranquil lake and lo, inside the lake, she saw the ruins of an ancient city.
